To systematically build core competencies for implementing sustainable development practices in the domain of public policy, ProSPER.Net has launched an e-Learning programme for development practitioners and policymakers in the Asia-Pacific region.

This endeavour to pilot-design a curriculum and generate suitable learning resources on 'sustainable development practice' is a collaborative activity under the ProSPER.Net initiative of the UNU-IAS (United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies) and is sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Japan.
